La surprenante libération du jailbreak iOS 9 par la Team Pangu, disponible sur tous les appareils compatibles iOS 9, peut en choquer quelques uns étant donné que iOS 9.1 sera disponible prochainement avec le nouvel iPad Pro.
Ce n’est pas la première fois qu’une équipe de hackeurs libèrent rapidement un nouveau jailbreak mais cette fois Saurik, Jay Freeman – développeur de Cydia, a réagit rapidement en mettant à jour les paquets Cydia Substrate et Cydia Installer afin de rendre l’application Cydia compatible avec iOS 9.
Cydia Substrate 0.9.6000 apporte des changements internes massives pour être compatible avec le dernier jailbreak iOS 9 de la Team Pangu.
L’avantage d’avoir rendu compatible Cydia Installer et Cydia Substrate avec le jailbreak Pangu 9, est que vous n’aurez aucune manipulation supplémentaire à effectuer pour être télécharger et installer des tweaks après le jailbreak de votre iDevice. Cela vous évitera de devoir installer manuellement des fichiers deb par connexion SSH par exemple.
Ceci dit, cela ne signifie pas que tous les tweaks sont compatibles avec iOS 9. Les développeurs vont devoir effectuer des vérifications et des mises à niveau dans les jours à venir. Consulter donc la liste des tweaks compatibles ou non avec iOS 9.x.
